This is a prime location for Starbucks, on the street level of the large Shinhan Bank Building. This is the most affluent area of Seoul, south of the Han River and headquarters for several major companies including Samsung. This area was largely developed after 1988 when the Summer Olympic games were hosted nearby.
The store has a few tables outside during warm weather, and a comfortable lounge inside.
