Whilst driving through this historic Downtown District Kissimmee, you may see what looks like a castle over the tops of the houses.
But you will soon discover it is a Church built in gothic revival style.
The First United Methodist Church, is itself a listed building in the US National Register of Historic Places.
This makes it a double historic site, as this, Historic church sits in a Historic Downtown Area,
There are several large stained glass windows, That I am sure would look spectacular from inside the Church.
There is a Bell standing to the side of the church, that was on the original one room church that stood on this spot, that was built in 1855, (Photes included in Gallery listing)
The Church looks like a fairly new red brick building, but it is in fact an old building built in 1913, according to Plaque on the building, which reads :-
1913. FIRST METHODIST CHURCH. 1913.
Building Committe:
Then List of 10 names.
A Tabernacle unto the Lord,
Dr J.D. Sibert, Pastor.

The NRHP registry entry for this church shows the Architectural Style: Late Gothic Revival.
As a picture is worth a thousand words, I have added lots of photos.
