The Giboney Block consists of an impressive brick structure which has housed numerous businesses and professional offices over the years. The portion closest to Walnut St. was built in 1946, and the west portion in 1927. Leslie's Hayden Pharmacy occupied the corner store on the Walnut St. end for many years. Before the local police car had a radio, a light at the top of the building on the alley was used as a signal to summon him.
