A stone bridge that goes over the River Ceiriog that splits England from Wales a this spot. The bridge bisects this border, so this waymark is in both England and Wales. To the north is Wales, to the south is England.
The bridge has recently undergone a restoration, that has taken around 5 years to do as the bridge fell in two council areas, so the discussion of who would pay or it took many years.
The bridge is old and is locally believed to be around 500 years old and is listed, so cannot be widened so you must make do with the thin carriageway and a 2.5 tonne limit for going over it.
