This photo is likely taken in the early 1900s sometime after 1907, A fire destroyed much of the Gananoque Inn in April, 1907, less than ten years after opening as a hotel. The wing closer to the water missing in this photo was never rebuilt.
Both photos were taken looking North/East to the rear of the hotel.
