The fall leaps in three stages, into a pool hidden in a hollow. After wet weather, the roar of water can be heard on the attractive short approach track from the parking area (about 3 minutes from the car park to the falls - see below for coordinates). No parking or admission charges: open all the time.
The path leads to the top of the falls, from where some steps (sometimes muddy and slippery) take you steeply down to the edge of the pool, where there is an excellent view of the lower two leaps. There is also a Keeil (ancient chapel) nearby.
Great displays of daffodils in March/April.
