The Casino of Madeira is a building designed by the famous Brasilian Architect Oscar Niemeyer. It was inaugurated in 1976.
The Casino is a hyperboloid structure suported by 32 columns and the exterior resembles the circular plan and ribbed structure of the Cathedral of Brasília.
The space and the integration of natural light are the principal characteristics of this magnificent example of modern art.
