In Boston, along New Sudbury Street is a cubic brick building that is a police station for the Boston Police. This station is Area A-1, serving downtown Boston.
The web page for the station on the Boston Police web site has the following for District A-1/A-15, both of which are in the same building:
The station covers the following neighborhoods: Charlestown, the North End, Beacon Hill, the West End, the Bulfinch Triangle, the Waterfront, the Financial District, Downtown Crossing, Chinatown, the Leather District, Bay Village and the Public Gardens/Boston Common. This comprises most of the core of Boston - what used to be the Shawmut Peninsula long ago. Thus, it is a dense area that covers both commerce and residences, with a small amount of industry. Patrols are done on foot, on bicycle, and in cars. The station also interacts with neighborhood watch groups and Downtown Crossing and Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
Type: Sub-Station (not always manned)

Visit Instructions:
To log a visit, you must post a photo of you in front of the building described, with your GPS in the photo. No drive by photos.
I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
