Panificação do Chiado, combines the service bakery and pastry since 1917, nowadays is a landmark in Lisbon's downtown. More than 70 bread varieties are made here: maize bread, whole meal bread, seven-types of cereal bread, and more... Panificação do Chiado is an old acquaintance of Lisbonites and is the originator of the famous "vianinhas", a type of flower-shaped bread. It was a Viennese master who started to make them.
