The gravestone is for Dr. Samuel Favius Freeman M.D. and Leila Bennett Freeman along with their descendants Frances L. Freeman and Favius Bennett Freeman. The Freeman family has a long history in Springfield dating back to William B. Freeman who was a Revolutionary War veteran who settled in Springfield area late in his life.

The bas-relief panels shown below have different events in the lives of the Freemans and how the interest in medicine, arts, music, animals, the Shriners and others. I am not able to determine what the combination of letters mean.
