The City of Enfield has erected a large gazebo in honor of a former mayor Joseph E. O'Connor. It is located on the lawn south of the City Hall. The octogonal structure has five steps leading up to a brick floor, wood rails and a conical roof with a cupola. On top of the cupola there is an interesting weathervane depicting a Revolutionary War drummer marching on a musket.

A concrete plaque imbedded in the right front is inscribed:

DEDICATED JULY 4, 1985
