Kaiser Permanente is building a $600 million Medical Center in San Leandro, California. The 434,000 square foot building resides on 63 acres and will have 264 beds when completed. There are planned to be 10 operating rooms, 24-hour emergency services with 40 treatment rooms and a newborn intensive care nursery. A medical office building will house 116 offices for primary care and specialty physicians, an outpatient procedure suite with six rooms, a pharmacy, a laboratory and radiology services.
