Horizontal, 1974 - Paris, France - Abstract Public Sculptures on Waymarking.com

Entitled "Horizontal, 1974" this work is by American sculptor Alexander Calder (1898-1976). The work was installed here in 2011.
The piece is nearly shaped like an iconic Christmas tree... but only depicting four sides or two axis of the "tree". At the top is a mobil horizontal bar with 5 yellow, blue and red amporphous shapes attached. The bar turns around the "tree" with the wind.
