The anti-aircraft gun sits on a cement pad along with a tank and a cannon in the veterans section of the cemetery. There is a marble marker in front of the three pieces of equipment that reads: "In memorial to those who served, to those we have lost, to bring us peace."
The Kearney Cemetery is owned and operated by the City of Kearney, Nebraska and is governed by the City Manager and City Council.
