Between 1961 and 1989 the Berlin Wall divided the city of Berlin to prevent passage between the two sections of the city, In 2009 this ten-panel section of the Berlin Wall was assembled as a permanent holding of The Wende Museum. Six of the panels represent work done by artists and added to the wall, but the four right panels as you are viewing the wall are original graffitti sections from the wall when it was standing in Berlin.
