Thatch Cottage, in the centre of Hartlip village is the only thatched building locally. The main house is built from bricks and mortar, but the roof is wonderfully thatched. The Ridge section is a traditional design, and at one end sits a thatched bird, possibly a dove.
Instructions for Visiting a Waymark: The cottage is located opposite the church of St Michael and All Angels. Parking is available outside the church. The house is privately owned so respect for the owners should always be your first priority.
