Three flagpoles stand outside the Marriott Hotel next to West India Dock and some old dockside cranes. The Union Flag (Jack) is on the centre pole. The outer poles carry two Marriott Hotel house flags. Both have white backgrounds with red and black writing. One flag proclaims: "Marriott / Hotel & Resort" - all the words in red. The other reads: "Marriott / Exclusive Apartments" in red but Marriott is in black.
