This church was constructed in 1942 by area parishioners under the direction of master carpenter, Michael Troschuk. Built in the Ternopil Cruciform style, it possesses arms of equal length, with a central dome supported by on octagonal drum opening onto the church interior. The ornate iconostasis and other religious paintings were created by noted religious artist Hnat Sych.
Holy Trinity served the residents of a wide area, including the High Plains, Leeland, and Chatfield districts. During the 1970s, the size of the congregation was greatly reduced by rural depopulation. It continues to be used on special occasions and has been lovingly restored by former parishioners. On September 6, 1989, the R.M. of Fisher designated the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity a municipal heritage site.
