A marker, on the north side of West Main Street in Brookfield, erected in 1930 by the Massachusetts Bay Colony Tercentenary Commission. The marker is inscribed:

IPSWICH ON INDIAN LANDS CALLED
QUABOAC. ATTACKED BY INDIANS IN
1675. ONE GARRISON HOUSE
