This memorial features two figures....a man standing upright and standing as if he is holding his place. Another male figure lies at his feet, wrapped around his legs...apparently in agony.
The pedestal has the following engravings:
ami si tu tombes un-ami sort de Lombre a ta place.
Aux etudiants resistants.

"ERICE PAR LES ETUDIANTS EN HOMMAGE A LEURS AINES 1940-1945"
or " Erected by students in tribute to their seniors. 1940-1945"

and "AMI SI TU TOMBES UN-AMI SORT DE LOMBRES A TA PLACE. AUX ETUDIANTES RESISTANTS"
"Friend, if you fall, another goes in your place. The Student Resistors"
