In Norwell is the South Shore Natural Science Center. This place includes exhibits inside the nature center, and many trails that are behind the building. These trails go through woods, open land, and wetlands. Where the trails enter wetlands, the trails travel over boardwalk sections. The map at the parking lot incidated at least seven sections. The Sylvester Trail boardwalk section rises several feet above the wetlands. This walkway is the longest of the boardwalks found and is about 100 ft long. Total, the boardwalks throughout the place may total 300 feet or more.

The Southg Shore Natural Science Center is located off Jacobs Lane, off Route 123 in Norwell. Check their web site for specific hours and admission price to enter.
