The headquarters for the police, fire and ambulance services are located in a building at 32 Payson Avenue. To the right of the main entrance, the original Easthampton Fire Department bell is on display. The original fire department building was built in 1885 and this bell was installed a year later. At 125 years old, this bell was recently refurbished and looks brand new. The bell was manufactured by Meneely Company of Troy, NY.
