This depot served the Western Maryland Railway at it's junction with the B&O Railroad in Piedmont, WV.

Piedmont was the southern terminus for the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1953, the C&P was acquired by the Western Maryland. An early view of the station can be found at the Piedmont Historic Preservation Foundation. The B&O station is the red brick building on the left (see Piedmont B&O Station - WMD376), while the other station on the right belongs to the Cumberland & Pennsylvania Railroad . This view is taken from the grade crossing at Childs Avenue looking railroad west. Note that the C&P depot was once two stories high.
