Will Rogers State Beach is a one and three-quarters mile beach on he Santa Monica Bay. It is sandwiched between the Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean. The main entrance is where Temescal Canyon Road meets the Pacific Coast Highway.
Will Rogers was an actor, philosopher and cowboy. Will and his wife Betty owned this beach until his death in 1946, when his wife donated the beach to State of California.
The television show Baywatch was shot at the this beach before it moved to Hawaii.
The South Bay Bicycle Trail passes through the beach on its way to Torrance, California.
The beach is open from 8AM to sunset.
