"Known as the "Honey Capital of Canada", Falher is a buzzing community located in the Smoky River Region of Alberta's Peace District. Falher was named after a French Missionary, Father Constant Falher, O.M.I. The Colony of Saint Jean Baptiste Falher was established in 1912. After many new settlers arrived in the following years, the colony divided into what is now known as the Village of Donnelly and the Town of Falher. Falher received village status in 1929 and was incorporated as a Town in 1955."
