This unique museum is dedicated to the history, research and preservation of artifacts involving and revolving around Unidentified Flying Objects, including but not limited to the UFO associated with the "Roswell Incident" of July, 1947.
The museum proudly displays numerous artifacts, newspaper articles, and recreations of "evidence" of the 1947 Roswell space ship landing, recovery and coverup. The museum does not ignore other UFO sightings across the world; they are also documented, and similarities as well as dis-similarities are compared, in an effort to better understand these sightings and the intelligent lifeforms and that are involved. Scientific research is presented as well, and possible explanations provided, such as the theories on the type of power that propells the spaceships that have been sighted visiting Earth.
There is a portion of the museum dedicated to "space" movies and television programs also. Star Trek, The X Files and Roswell the Movie are all represented.
An annual UFO Convention is held in Roswell each year, with the musuem participating.
A wonderful gift shop is open for those who chose to take souveniers home.
