This 1687 bronze sculpture is entitled "Lion Terrassant un Sanglier" or in English "Lion Killing a Wild Boar". The lion faces the main part of the fountain while the boar, under him and still struggling apparently has a spout coming out of its mouth. On the other side of the fountain is a sculpture of a lion killing a wolf.
The artists are Jean-Melchior Raon and Balthasar Keller.
