The main stack is a quadruple on octagonal bases on a gable stack between the two forward projecting 'wings' of the house, the other two stacks are in pairs to the rear of the cottage also on octagonal bases. The quad is of four different designs, fine and coarse twists, and two diamond styles. The rear pairs are a repeat of these designs.

The main house walls are brick-built in Flemish bond with the gable and second storey wall beneath in painted vaux half-timber. It is a stiking house positioned opposite the school on School Hill.
