This chimney is part of the Hamilton Water Works. A defining feature of the area, the chimney was built in 1859. This tall chimney is notable for its tripartite design, red brick style, cap, limestone pedestal. It features a ladder going up one of the sides.

The chimney is located outside of the Hamilton Steam & Technology Museum.
