This downtown Grand Junction icon was dedicated on December 15, 1989. The bison is made of a steel frame with thousands of hand cut chromed car pieces to create this shiny bison. A closer look reveals how the artist used the various shapes of chromed car parts to shape specific features on the bison. He is just a joy to view!
