This Frisch's Big Boy restaurant was visited by Zippy the Pinhead. The Big Boy told Zippy that the Big Cheese'n'Bacon Platter had changed him.

Bill Griffith's notes say this strip features a Frisch's Big Boy in Cincinnati, Ohio. There's close to a dozen Frisch's Big Boy restaurants around Cincinnati, each with a model of the Big Boy placed in different locations on the property. The key was finding the Big Boy near a brick wall with a window nearby. After researching all possibilities with Google Street View, I found two Frisch's Big Boy restaurants that had the Big Boy configured next to a brick wall. Both were in northern suburbs of Cincinnati, one in Sharonville and one in Springdale.
So I visited both restaurants in person and took the needed pictures, still uncertain which one was the chosen one. Both restaurants had the same architectural building style. One had red awnings, the other had green-and-white striped awnings. But no awnings were shown in the Zippy strip.
After examining my pictures carefully, I noticed an interesting detail on the rear pocket of the Big Boy at Springdale. There was a yellow Slingshot sticking out of his pocket, that was not present on the Sharonville Big Boy. This was a standout feature that was not drawn on the rear pocket of the Big Boy in the strip. Therefore the strip had to be featuring the Sharonville Big Boy!
Zippy had a conversation with the Big Boy about how he'd changed. The Big Boy said it was due to the Big Cheese'n'Bacon Platter.
