Cobble Beach and the tidal pool area are located on the south side of Yaquina Head below the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. This stairway leads down to the beach and includes 115 steps and 8 landings, some with benches. There is an interpretive display at the top of the stairway which deals with the tidal zone, the cobble beach, and Harbor Seals.
