Glass fusing is a process for creating strikingly beautiful and unique pieces of art from layers of colored glass and fusing them in a kiln of up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. He also does mosaic work and glass painting.
Dan Watts opened this studio in July 2010, attracted by the proximity of other artists and the picturesque setting of the historic Taft district on Siletz Bay. It is located adjacent to the North Lincoln County Historic Museum housed in the historic former fire house for Taft and the neighboring communities before they merged in 1965 to form Lincoln City.
