Gracelawn Cemetery is a City-owned cemetery, established in the late 1800s. In the far northwest corner, this flat, gray granite marker shows several etchings. At the bottom center, the last name WINN is engraved in large letters.

On the right, beneath "Sam" Charles Sanford Winn's inscription is etched a stack of books and a graduation cap. The words inscribed are: "30 YEARS - EDUCATOR/PRINCIPAL/TEACHER."

His wife, Betty Lou Lenochan Winn is still living. Her interest in painting is depicted with the etchings of a painter's pallet, a glass of brushes and tubes of paint. At the top center is an etching of a wood duck, with a few carving tools, which may be the hobby of either one of them.

The inscriptions read:
