There is a garden courtyard area at the back of the Michener Institute. If you walk up the stairs you will see this large sundial to your right. This sundial has two large semi-circular arms that intersect and are mounted on a base. One of the semi-circles has roman numerals marked on it for reading the time. A metal pole is secured to the two top ends of the intersecting semi-circle and it will cast a shadow on the roman numerals.
It is at the southeast corner of McCaul Street and Elm Street, on the east side of McCaul Street, north of Dundas Street West, west of University Avenue.
Sundial Type: Armillary Sphere - series of rings in plane of equator
