LA County Fair - Geode Shop Penny Smasher - Penny Smashers on Waymarking.com

Each year, during the Los Angeles County Fair in September, the Geode Shop at Knotts Berry Farm has several Penny Smashers in a permanent booth just inside the Blue Gate of the FairPark in Pomona.

This machine was originally purchased for the Geode Shop at the Knotts Berry Farm Amusement Park. Permission to place the Smasher in the Park was denied because it would compete with the Park's own Penny Smashers. So each year the Geode Shop brings this unit to the Los Angeles County Fair and the permanent booth that they maintain at the Fair.
