This outhouse sits in back of the historic Viola School near the town of Estacada.

This one-room school house was built in 1894 and was in use until 1948 after which students went by bust to schools in Estacada. The Viola Community Club has preserved it and, although well maintained, it is used only occasionally for meetings.
The outhouse is painted red to match the school, and it is unlocked, but it is not clear whether it is in use. There are probably better facilities nearby.
