Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou is a town in the Znojmo (

It is unexpected to find a museums such legends as William Frederick Cody or Pony Express in the heart of Europe. But it is true that Buffalo Bill himself visited this place with his Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.
A admiration for the idea and system of mail delivery by Pony Express was at the origin of an idea to establish a fictional city (City of Rolftown) with a museums of west legends in the heart of Europe.
Pony Express Museum modest way commemorates pioneering period of the Wild West. You can find here a number of historical documents and artifacts. The museum introduces the founders Pony Express service - Mr. William H. Russell, Alexander Majors, and William B. Waddell. The museum reminds time of origin of Pony Express, its goals, mission and the means by which these objectives were achieved.
There is described the route of Pony Express and the system of stations. You can look over of Pony Express riders equipment (e.g. special lightweight saddles, special bags for shipments (a mochila), their oath. There are also mentioned a few famous riders of Pony Express (Robert Haslam, Jack Keetley). Of course, there is mention of the participation of William Frederick Cody, who has a similar museum in an adjacent building.
The museum also mentions of heritage of Pony Express service: Pony Express logo used by Wells Fargo, the establishment Pony Express trademark by the United States Postal Service and the inclusion of some sections of the Pony Express in National Historic Trail project.
