Queen's Parade in Cheltenham was where Sir Arthur T Harris was born in 1892. In world war two, he became chief of Allied bomber command, and was commonly known as "Bomber" Harris. As part of the Allied bombing campaign he was responsible for the contraversial bombing of German Cities.
