The post box is in excellent condition with the paint work looking fresh and done professionally. The old paint look to have been removed before the new paint applied. There is no overlapping of colours and the letters are carefully picked out in gold paint.
Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
The post box is located at the lower end of the Folkestone Leas Lift just outside the entrance. It adds a touch of Victorian charm to the Victorian piece of engineering.

Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Excellent

Is this post box still in use?: Mon-Fri 5.45pm and Sat 12 noon

Is VR embossed on the post box or is it an "anonymous" box?: Yes

Any other embossed lettering, such as manufacturer?: Yes
