The railway bridge used to carry the Orient Express into the harbour where the passengers would transfer to a ferry for the voyage across the channel. The bench mark is cut on the eastern end of the bridge on the north side of the road. Cut into brick, it is fairly easy to spot and is in fair to good condition.
