Maplewood State Park is located near Pelican Rapids, MN. The park is approximately 9250 acres and features prairie and woodland landscapes. The park is a fall colors showcase. But fall colors aren't the only thing that the park offers. It has stunning views and overlooks, fishing pier, boat launch, swimming beach, several picnic areas, including one covered with flush toilets and running water sinks, Veteran's memorial, hiking trails, horseback riding, trailhead building, cross country skiing and so much more. It is truly a four seasons park with something for everyone.
