When changing planes in Shanghai, China, one goes through security into the main lobby with access to the outside. If the layover is long enough, one can catch a taxi into town for a short visit and return.
This storm drain bears the date, 1999 at the bottom, and "Branch Government" at the top and the central character is "Rain."
