The sundial is on top of a small stone pillar. It was presented by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Merseyside and Isle of Man Branch.
The church is very close to the pier head and is known as the Sailor’s Church. It may seem strange that the Chartered Surveyors have one branch covering Merseyside and the Isle of Man, but there is a ferry that connects them. The terminal is just across the road from the church.
Sundial Type: Horizontal - Flat base, Ground or Pedestal mounted dial plate
