Església de la Concepció (The Church of the Conception), was built in 1749, the Greek colony established in Mahon. Therefore, it was an Orthodox church dedicated to St. Nicholas of Bari.
It had a Greek and Byzantine-style decor.
In 1782 the colony was expelled and the church was abandoned, and in 1868 became part of Catholic worship.
For this reason, all Orthodox symbols were removed.
