At casual glance, Donna’s Brok’n Spoke, in a low, cinder-block building on a seedy stretch of east Boulder Street, looks like it has been closed for years. The three-car parking lot is often empty. The windows are cluttered with mannequins, a wagon wheel, a plush horse and a jumble of stuff largely from another decade, all under a thick coating of dust.

But look closely and there’s an OPEN sign near the plush horse. And sure enough, the door is unlocked.

The upsidedown WELCOME on the front sign should give you a clue that Donna doesn't take business to seriously. After 47 years and 4 locations Donna still presides over her eclectic collection of everything horse related.
