Three similar sculptures are placed on the slope below the library building of the College of the Holy Cross. L'Offrande is the sculpture farthest to the west.

A nude female figure sitting on a bench with her legs stretched out in front of her and her head turned slightly to her right and facing the sky. Her legs are crossed at her ankles, right over left. Her arms reach back behind her and her hands are overlapping the sides of the bench. The sculpture rests on a rectangular concrete base.
L'Offrande (The Offering) is a 47 1/4" x 56 1/4" x 28 1/2" sculpture created in 1936-1937 by Robert Wlerick and cast in bronze at the Susse Fondeur foundry. The original plaque below the sculpture is missing. According to the SIRIS database the missing plaque was inscribed:
