Three similar sculptures are placed on the slope below the library building of the College of the Holy Cross. L'Arrivee is the sculpture farthest to the east.

A nude male figure with his head and arms bent back. His hands are behind the back of his neck. He is standing on a rock with his left leg fairly straight and his right leg bent at the knee.
The L'Arrivee (The Arrival) is a 80" x 30" x 34" bronze sculpture. It was created in 1965 by Enzo Plazzotta and cast in bronze by Fonderia Mariani E. Belfiore. It is placed on a square concrete base. A plaque on the front of the base is inscribed:
