This station, a Vermont Highway Department standard survey disk, is located in Royalton, VT, on VT Route 14. The NGS datasheet description gives full detail:
GENERAL LOCATION, ROYALTON, VT.
TO REACH FROM THE INTERSECTION OF VT ROUTE 14 AND VT ROUTE 107 GO
SOUTH ALONG VT ROUTE 14 FOR 0.9 MI (1.4 KM) TO A ONE STORY HOUSE ON
THE RIGHT AND THE SITE OF THE MARK ON THE LEFT, BETWEEN VT ROUTE 14
AND THE NEW ENGLAND CENTRAL RAILROAD. THE MARK IS SET IN THE TOP OF
THE SOUTH END OF A 1.7 M (5.6 FT) X 0.5 M (1.6 FT) ROCK OUTCROP WHICH
PROJECTS ABOUT 0.4 M (1.3 FT) ABOVE GROUND SURFACE.
IT IS 12.3 M (40.4 FT) NORTHEAST OF AND ABOUT 1.0 M (3.3 FT) HIGHER
THAN THE CENTERLINE OF VT ROUTE 14, 9.5 M (31.2 FT) SOUTHWEST OF THE
SOUTHWEST RAIL OF THE RAILROAD, 3.9 M (12.8 FT) SOUTHEAST OF POLE NO
6/80 AND 0.8 M (2.6 FT) SOUTHEAST OF A FIBERGLASS WITNESS POST. NOTE,
MARK WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR GPS WITH SOME SMALL TREE CLEARING.
As the description implies, there is some overgrowth around the station. In spite of this, the carsonite witness post is still easy to spot from the roadway.
