This station, A Vermont Highway Department standard bench mark disk, is located in Royalton, VT, just west from the intersection of VT Routes 14 and 107. It is on the northeast corner of a bridge, on VT Route 107, that spans the Second Branch of the White River. It is across the intersection west from Eaton's Sugar House. GENERAL LOCATION, ROYALTON, VT, AT NORTH ROYALTON.
TO REACH FROM THE INTERSECTION OF VT ROUTE 107 AND VT ROUTE 14 IN
NORTH ROYALTON GO WEST ALONG VT ROUTE 107 FOR ABOUT 45 M (147.6 FT) TO
THE EAST END OF THE VT ROUTE 107 BRIDGE OVER THE SECOND BRANCH OF THE
WHITE RIVER AND THE SITE OF THE MARK ON THE RIGHT, SET IN THE TOP OF
THE BRIDGE CURB AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE BRIDGE.
IT IS 6.1 M (20.0 FT) NORTH OF AND ABOUT 0.2 M (0.7 FT) HIGHER THAN
THE CENTERLINE OF VT ROUTE 107, 0.5 M (1.6 FT) WEST OF THE EAST END OF
THE ABUTMENT, 0.3 M (1.0 FT) NORTH OF THE SOUTH EDGE OF THE BRIDGE
CURB AND 0.4 M (1.3 FT) SOUTH OF THE NORTH EDGE OF THE BRIDGE CURB.
The disk is very easy to spot from the roadway.
